RIVERSIDE, CA – Shuttle Bus Leasing (SBL), the nation’s leading provider of pre-owned buses, in collaboration with its affiliate Complete Coach Works (CCW), is pleased to announce a four-bus lease agreement with Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) for four (4) 2011 40-foot Gillig Low Floor diesel transit buses.

The buses will undergo pre-lease preparation at CCW’s headquarters in Riverside, California before being delivered to Bishop, California for service with ESTA. The agreement provides ESTA with a flexible fleet solution designed to support operational needs while avoiding the extended lead times and higher capital costs associated with new vehicle procurement.

As part of the project, all four buses will receive detailed mechanical servicing, operational inspections, cosmetic preparation, and interior upgrades to ensure they are fully prepared for deployment.

Major Scope Highlights Include:
• Full exterior repaint
• Installation of new Sportworks Apex 2 stainless steel bike racks on all four buses
• Installation of new Diamond fareboxes on all four buses
• Installation of luggage racks on two buses
• HVAC system service
• Wheelchair ramp servicing with new anti-skid tape and operational testing
• Interior detailing, flooring restoration, and driver/passenger area improvements

“These buses provide ESTA with a reliable fleet solution that can be deployed quickly,” said James Carson, Regional Sales Manager at Shuttle Bus Leasing. “By pairing proven Gillig platforms with a detailed preparation process, we’re able to deliver dependable buses ready for immediate service.”

The lease agreement includes flexible terms designed to support ESTA’s operational goals while providing the option for long-term fleet planning through a lease-to-purchase structure.
