RIVERSIDE, CA – Complete Coach Works (CCW), North America’s leading provider of transit bus and sustainable transportation solutions, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract to supply and refurbish one (1) 2013 30-foot Gillig Low Floor diesel transit bus for Jefferson Transit Authority in Port Townsend, Washington. The purchase was made through the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services (DES) cooperative purchasing contract.

By purchasing through the Washington State cooperative contract, Jefferson Transit Authority was able to streamline procurement and move forward efficiently while remaining fully compliant with public purchasing requirements. The state-approved contract provides agencies with a faster path to modernizing their fleets by reducing administrative timelines and allowing projects to begin sooner than traditional procurement methods.


Major Scope Highlights Include:
• Installation of a rebuilt Cummins diesel engine and rebuilt Allison transmission
• New Altro commercial-grade flooring throughout the passenger and driver’s areas
• New Ergo Metro AM80 driver’s seat and reupholstered passenger seating
• Complete exterior repaint
• Full LED interior and exterior lighting upgrades
• Rebuilt wheelchair ramp system with new ADA restraint equipment
• New AngelTrax camera system
• New Sportworks APEX 3 bike rack
