RIVERSIDE, CA – Complete Coach Works (CCW), North America’s leading provider of transit bus and sustainable transportation solutions, is pleased to announce it has been awarded a contract to prepare and deliver two (2) 2011 35-foot Gillig Low Floor diesel buses for Hermes, based in Denver, Colorado.

The project includes pre-sale preparation and refurbishment of the buses at CCW’s headquarters in Riverside, California. Upon completion, the units will be delivered directly to the customer’s facility in Denver, supporting their fleet expansion and operational needs.

Under the awarded contract, CCW will perform its standard pre-sale preparation scope of work, along with customer-specified upgrades designed to enhance performance, reliability, and overall passenger experience.

Major Scope Highlights Include:

  • Full exterior repaint with white finish and black accent components, including black-painted wheels
  • Installation of LED headlights for improved visibility and safety
  • New ERGO AM80 driver’s seat with updated safety features
  • Passenger seating upgrades with new grey vinyl inserts
  • Comprehensive mechanical inspection and servicing of engine, transmission, and cooling systems
  • Replacement of critical service components including fluids, filters, belts, and batteries
  • HVAC, electrical, and accessibility systems tested and verified for full functionality
  • Inspection and servicing of suspension, steering, brake, and undercarriage systems
  • Steam cleaning of engine compartment, undercarriage, and major components
  • Final quality assurance through DOT inspection and road testing prior to delivery
